I can't tell when I will get there. I'm fer burning some beef, chicken or fish in any way that is palatable. I am prepared to bring my own and find a piece of grill, stove or charcoal as necessary. I can bring some charcoal and a small grill- but can't say yet when I'll git thar.

rbaileydav had mentioned maybe making chili one night. if you have ever had his chili you know it is not to be missed Dick if your still offering???.................. how bout you post a "grocery list " , so I can sign up to bring some of the items you need for your chili. I can't wait for this Fling I need some river time BAD I just spent the past 3 nights in the ICU waiting room at Memorial in Chattanooga......... seems my oldest brother tried his hardest to have himself a heart attack ....... but a couple of stints later and some cardiac rehab down the road and his prognosis looks pretty good all thing considered T-Dub

Just don't let him set up for a week so those stints don't cut a clot loose on him. I've known at least 2 that left outta here after successful stint surgeries cuz they didn't lay flat for a week. No fun to lay fora week I'm sure, but beats the alternative.

Dudes....you are cutting our guts out. I golf 2 days a year cause my board says so. If I did all the trout fishing and whitetail hunting I need to do, I would seriously contemplate golfing. My youngest is 9 now and older two are 16 and 15, so I have higher priorities on ball practice, drill meets and such for the next few years. That stuff is most rewarding, necessary and closest to my heart, as it should be.
My passions for fly rodding and deer hunting get to nibble 'round the edges though. That is good enough for now. Living here in East Tennessee, good enough is livin' mighty high as far as I'm concerned.
I was looking forward to meeting RD and hearing the Petey perspective. My Friday is not so great, but I am a "go" for crossing Hickory Tree bridge by nightfall and slinging flies at sun-up Saturday.
