I have a A2 that I sent back nine weeks ago, end of June, to have the ferrules fixed. I emailed them several times over the last couple of weeks trying to find out what is going on. I finally learned earlier this week, that they have yet to start on my rod. That they are going to have to rebuild the tip of the rod for some reason or another while fixing the ferrules, I didn't realize that anything was wrong with the tip. I don't build rods so I don't know enough to know better, but I just thought that was a little odd. Paula B. called for me at LRO to enquire about the rod since that was where it was purchased and they sent it back for me. They told her it would 7-10 days as of last week before I got it back. But now they are telling me they just want to send me a new one, but it will be another 2-3 weeks maybe longer because they don't have any in stock are in the middle of building some new ones. So the last thing I heard two days ago was that they were going to send me a loaner. What a soap opera this has turned out to be. I had a similar but less bizzare situation happen with my SAS 7wt. I was told they would take 3-6 weeks on turn around on that rod last year and it took 8-9 on that one. This one looks to be taking freaking 3 months or longer.
Both of these rods are wonderful casting rods, but this is insane. Just letting people know what they are getting themselves into before they purchase one of their rods.
