OK, My first time with the rod was on Sunday morning on the Clinch. It was a windy making it diffucult for most people to cast. This rod made the line slice though the wind like warm butter. I was also shocked at how much line the rod could shoot. All in all it is a Royal Wulff!

TCR rods are the rods that many elite distance casters use in competition. These guys are throwing 120+ feet using TCR 5 wts.

120 feet... sweet! Could use a rod like that on the Clinch.... long casts to spooky fish! That much line would give a man trouble on the Hiwassee though, too many crosscurrents to play. Petey

120 feet with a 5 wt. is a pretty fair poke. In fact, only a handful of people on the planet can achieve that kind of distance with a 5wt. rod. These guys CARRY 80-90 feet in the air and then shoot to 120. It's amazing. Not too practical for real-life fishing situations, but it's something to see.
