As always this event is open to members and their friends. The Fling will be upon us before we realize it. So it appears as of now that on the 4th weekend of October (22,23,24) we will be spending our time on the South Holston. Typically we have a great bunch of guys that show up spout greatness upon Jeffersonian Politics, tie bugs you won't find in an Orvis catalog and share in the fellowship of the fly. So who is in and who is out? Sign Up:[/u] Tentwing Jake (Not staying the night due to being afraid.) Petey Varmit (Coming up Saturday) Jermz Dead Drift and Stink Merganser and possible friendClincher

Jeffersonian politics and pink harlots?.....How could I pass that up! The floor show is worth the price of admission! Of course you can count me among the brotherhood!

Did you guys ever decide camping or renting a cabin ?

Will do, typically we do a cabin. Just for luxury reasons. But I am not beyond camping in pretty much any condition. We just have some softies running around here.

Hey TW, you need to see if you can't locate Hootie Hoo. He would love the SoHo....

Oh, I'm out all right. But I wish I could be there. Really, really wish I could. I NEED to fish real bad right now, even if I scarcely remember how.
I might make it out that way 'round Christmas break somehow, though. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the Winter freeze-out, err, I mean Fling. ;D

OK fellers, here is the gig... The one place that Varmit mentioned is completey booked. The the other link - South Holston Cabins link is available. It was rented, but the people canceled this AM from Atlanta while Varmit was on the phone. He has had them put our name on it. It sleeps up to 9, and to be honest I don't see us going over that number. It appears we will have right around 7-8, maybe 9. If it is all, it is 240 dollars a night, 53 dollars for the weekend a piece. Deposit is required and it must be in the form of check or cash. 150 dollars to be exact. I am going to put this in the mail tomororw if there are no objections. The river is a 5-7 minute walk through the woods from the cabin. If anybody is wanting to voice there opinion, they need to do so now. If not, I am going to go ahead and reserve it. Check the website, it looks like a pretty cool place, 100 year old log hewn cabin.
