Well, UB hasn't kept this place secret from me, but he sure never told me what I was in for. Seems that most of these trout I played with were over 20 inches, and weighed a few pounds. Quite a lot of fun even on a 6wt (had to dust it off). We never got the big one that UB was talking to me about and he told me most we got were small (I am still sratching my head on that one though) Anyway since the fishing was freaking salavation worthy, I didn't take many pictures, but UB and I did combine some shots and we came up with this short video. I am not saying this is anything good, but I had some decent vids and put them together. Maybe if it cools down sometime, we could do something more appropriate of this awesome place. I should have taken more shots and vids, but I just couldn't help myself from fishing. vimeo.com/1144828

That is a pig farm!
Is that a free public stream that can be had by reservation, or is a that pay to play type pig farm.
I have fished a certain little creek just outside of Helena that was free but we had to get reservations.
Either way, those are some chunky boys.
Thanks for sharing.

Dude, I don't care what the others say about how much better the South Cakalacky boyz are with their videos, I say, "You Rock!"
I always liked your music selections, too. Was appreciative of your inclusion of the R.E.M. cut from the new album, "Accelerate," the quite popular cut by Death Cab for Cutie, and the others I never heard before. When I get out that way next month, I'm bringin' my iPod with about 16Gb of tunes. Maybe I can reciprocate a little......

If you have 16 gigabytes of music, I think you need to get with Rbaileydave and you guys trade licks.
At our gatherings DD likes to have us play name that tune, or we play "Hey, do you got this one?". Usually he does in some form.

yeah, that new album by REMn is pretty cool. Well half of it is good, the other half is not so great, but half is really good.
PIG farm is right. Well not offically, I mean it's just a private strech of stream that a group of landownders try and take care of, but It's a friend who has a cabin up there. He said you wanna fish up there? I never knew it was like this or I would have been before. Sadly those stream temps were getting brutal up in that heat we've been having. Hopefully it cools off some and some rain comes through or those trout are in big big trouble.

oh, and luckily the forecast looks much better at least for N. GA.
Oh, and the SC guys spent over three months shooting and editing, and I did that I about 3 hours. So I am not trying to compare the two, but I don't think it's bad for a quick throw together. I guess at some point you have to ask....Are you here to fish or make a video.
Oh and thanks on the music. I like all kinds, just not much Rap. I have my editing stuff on a new computer so I had to recycle some tunes from last time.

That's some good stuff right there, especially with the underwater shots ;D
What editor would you recommend using to stitch those clips together?

i was using premiere elements there, but if you have a mac, Imovie would work, or a PC, windows movie maker would work.

Thanks for the followup. I have experimented with MovieMaker, but nothing seriously.
