Took some time off Friday and hit the Tellico DH. Didn't get out there until 10:30 - 11:00 and came home at 4. Fishing was a little slow. Water was low and clear. I haven't seen the Tellico this low in a couple of years. Fished a hairs ear, prince nymphs, yellow flashy prince nymps, standard pheasant tails, micro boogers and a size 8 stonefly nymph. Caught all of my fish on the first the two princes. Brought to hand three pretty wild bows and four stockers. These are not you average run of the mill stockers. They are well colored and appear to have been well fed. Not what you traditionally get out the Tellico hatchery. Flicker I looked for ya man. Forgot your number at home when I took out. What do you drive? Petey

I never made it down there. We ended up camping over in Crossville somewhere. It was 12:30 and about 25$ in gas later when I finally made it home.
Did you see many stockers? I guess alot of 'em still have sore lips from the weekend before. I agree, they are big healthy looking fish though. There are still some holdovers upstream of the DH. They aren't getting near as much pressure now either.
By the way, I drive a red 98' Jeep Cherokee.
