I went up to LRO today to purchase new fly lines for my 3 and 4 wts with a gift certificate leftover from Christmas. A gift certificate and 60$ later, I decided I might as well fish while I was up there. I only fished for about an hour and 45 minutes, but landed 6 trout up to 10" and lost two or three times that many. ;D They all came on 14 BHHE's in natural and olive and on an 18 BHPT. It was comfortable outside and the water was in the high 40's. Next Sunday is supposed to be 65!! Tight Lines

Looks like you made the right decison Flicker. Stream X was awfully slow on Saturday. Petey, did decent but I was only able to bring 4 fish to hand. From the reports I have been hearing it looks like the West prong is fishing well during this cold weather. I might have to give it a shot soon. Did you fish it on the road or where it leaves the road?

It was pretty high from all the rain and only the biggest of pools were fishable. I just picked my spots and stayed on the bank, never even put on waders.

Hard to escape LRO without spending money... Every time I go there with a list of things I need and end up buying things not on my list. Love that bargain bin...
