Well, I got to fish two days in a row this week, can't complain. I decided to fish the west prong since most of the tailwaters where running. Ended up being a great day, the weather was perfect and the fish were cooperative. I started off with a prince nymph with no luck. After noticing a couple of October caddis, I switched to a stimulator with a dropper black wire body soft hackle . I never had to switch flies after this. It was a great combo that accounted for numerous fish. It seemed almost easy, but put a smile on my face as those beautiful painted fish took the fly.

Nice pics Stretch, glad you could get out and pick up some fins... I managed a picnic at Abrams Picninc Area and goofed around Anthony Creek that runs through the area and found a few bows highstickin' a pt... weather was perfect and wished i could get to Abrams Creek, but maybe next time - any time on any water is the the right time...
