In between the times I am out hunting for the favorite cold water fish we all love I also dabble, I also spend time getting dirty in search for the warm water bite. While it is a different game and not one that is easy to play, it can be quite rewarding... It is not for everybody and you won't find many tweed jackets fishing boo where I go. But if you allow your trout fishing soul to get a little dirty, well then it is all good fun. Here are some pictures from the last couple of months of me, some catches and snags on the fly along with some guys some of you might recognize... Here I am with a one of the bucket mouths I caught over the spring. Not the biggest or smallest... but just a sample. Also caught a few of these guys on the fly. Wanna see a bunch of manly men turn into freaked out school girls, start reeling this guy in towards the boat after you have snagged him off the bank out of some dense growth. Some you might recognize this guy from a couple of the flings.... And I know most of you will recognize this guy... He is alive and well.

Speaking of Arp... he sent me this picture of an Aligar I caught back in 07 on the fly rod. This is the first time I have seen the photo since that night. This is the first and only Aligar I have caught.... Petey
