Congratulations on your contest! Yellowstone is a special place. I'll be looking forward to your report. I'll be out there for a couple days also in two weeks.

Dang Fellas ; I love that place. There is so much beauty that you actually forget some of it til you get back home and start looking at your pictures and then the memories come flooding back. I am very happy for both of you , but...... I might be just a little JEALOUS to ?? ............Tentwing

Flicker... good golly son... I thought you were gone forever. I had written you off and thought maybe you had outgrown the likes of us. Or maybe you had met some fly fishing gal from Montana and was shacked up in a high elevation cabin living off the land. How are things going?

Haha I've just been busy lately. Got one of those fancy pieces of paper from UT in December and been hunting a graduate project. Headed to Oregon in a couple weeks for a fall Chinook project with the state. Gonna detour through Jellystone on my way and hang a few cutts.
Got a girl that's hell on crappie, catfish, and turkeys, she's learning the fly rod. I'm as likely to pick up a shotgun, rifle, or spinning rod as I am a fly rod anymore. Caught the heck outta some trout on the Holston the last two weekends though.
I guess I'm more of a facebooker now, but I have a pile of pictures I need to share with y'all.
How bout y'all?! TW, what's got you down? How's the fam Petey? The rest of the fling group still hang around here?

Already graduated... that's my boy! The Oregon trip will be next level. Not a bad detour route either. That is great she can do all that, but can she cook? The family is good man. Growing like weeds on fertilizer. The fling brethren checks in from time to time. Just our normal pace around here. Last couple of flings were slow to materialize, but we will see what happens. Don't be gone so long next time!
