Hi. I live in Chattanooga and don't have many friends that fly fish. I usually end up getting out by myself. I would really like to find some folks who would like to make occasional trips to some of the rivers within a 2-3 hr drive of Chattanooga. It makes for a long day when you go by yourself. I know a couple of spots on the Elk and have fished the Hiwassee, the Tellico, and the Holston. I am open to self directed trips or splitting a guide for somewhere like the S. Holston or the Watauga Rivers. Would love to do a float trip. I work 4/10s and, so, I am usually off on Fridays but can get an occasional other day off during the week, if need be. I can also go weekends but like the smaller crowds during the week. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.

It hasn't rolled out yet, but the annual Fall Fling will be coming up pretty soon. I may start a thread tomorrow for it. Anyway, if you can make it, it would be an excellent time to hook up with others who you can fish with. The past couple of Fall Flings have been held on the South Holston and as good as these trips have been, I wouldn't be shocked if we spent an October weekend up there again. Several of us fish the Soho pretty regular so finding a good spot is not an issue. Stay tuned!
