I haven't been about much, son's football and daughters dance/pagents are driving me bonkers. Was able to finally wet a line in GSMNP yesterday and had a great morning with this monsta being the highlight... Not sure if they are staging up early to head upstream, but it was hanging out in a shallow feeding lie at a head of a small run. I was highsticking a green weenie and believe you me, it surprised the mess outta me to see that log come rolling out of such a tiny slot. I can expect that out of a tailwater, but from a mountain stream - just a little surreal.

Awsome job Jermz! That is a pig daddy, or as Varmit says a "hog johnson"!
You know its funny, I have only caught on trout over 18" from any tailwater. When I go looking for big trout I always go to the Little River. If someone ask me where the best place in Tennessee was to hook a fish over 20" I would send them to the LIttel river!
