Alright maybe leaks is a little misleading... Darn think acts as an overgrown filter.
Borrowed a one man two pole mummy tent from a friend of work. It has some age but no rips or tears looks to be in good condition. Set it up yesterday and left it out overnight in the weather. It rained a good bit this morning, which I was hoping it would do so I could see how it held up. Well... it was full of puddles. Which means it needs more than seam sealer. Does anybody have a good method of resealing the entire rain fly?

Sean; You can use Nikwax to re-waterproof tents and sleeping bags. You can also try Tecron gear repellent , or I have always used Camp Dry by Kiwi ( the shoe polish company ) Nik Wax is highly touted as being the best , but it is also the most expensive and the process to use it is more involved than all the others. Also I understand it only last about a year. Camp Dry is basically a spray silicone , however I have equipment from the early 90's that still has no leaks. All I have ever done is respray every thing with Camp Dry about every 4 or 5 years. Hope some of this helps, Tentwing

Tough call man. It could probably be done, but it wouldn't be worth it in the long run.

I went by a local outdoor outfitters and picked up a can of ReviveX. Supposed to be good for water proofing all outdoor gear. Call me a little skeptic. Once it warms up this weekend I am going to Spray the rainfly and see what happens. Once it has dried and cured I will turn the sprinkler on to simulate a little rain and see how it holds. If worse comes to worse I will go buy a hammock with a rainfly. I have been wanting to check one of those out anyway.
