Had been living down in Chattanooga up until a couple of months ago. Moved up to Knoxville to live with my girlfriend who's in pharmacy school up here. The Hiwassee had been my home water, but looking for other, closer places around my current residence. I've checked out that Clinch and I like the look of it (don't know how it's fishing lately). Also took a peak at the Holston, but I'm looking for water to wade in, not float. Any other locations (that y'all are willing to give up within an hour or so of West Knoxville that should hold my interest? Use to fishing tailwaters, but happy to try streams and creeks as well.

Hey Michael,
It's hard to beat the Smokys. I know the park is closed now but you can park at barricades and walk in.

The clinch has been tough lately, at least for me... For the holston, there is plenty of wadeable water just below Cherokee dam.
