Wanted to say hello from the foothills. I've been flyfishing/tying for about 10 years. I chase smallies in the summer months on the Broad River and fish for trout throughout the year. My favorite place to fish is the SOHO. I also fish the Davidson, Cherokee, and Wilson Creek. Alot of the tailraces have been slammed with high water over the past 10 weeks but that looks like it's starting to change. Looking forward to reading and contributing on this forum.

Rocky, thanks for the invite and welcome. I look forward to learning more about midge fishing. It's unbelievable that such a small fly will be so effective at times.
