Well..................... First you drive into Wyoming and start up The Wind River Range which looks like this.....
,
The your just driving along and up pops the Cathedral Range of the Grand Tetons
.
The you decide to spend the Evening in the Tetons and the view from your camp at Jenny Lake at the base of the Tetons looks like this just before you drift off to sleep.......
.
.
.
You get up the next days and your wife take you on a trip to fish the Snake River where she does this...........
.
...........and on a spring creek that flows into the Snake.....You do this..........
.
.
.
Do i have anyone's attention yet??
,
Next you drive along the BearTooth Highway.......wondering to yourself if it is as scenic as they say ..........When what appears in your windshield but?.......The Absaroka Mountains
.
.
.
Then you wife tells you I've got a surprize for you ..........."We're gonna go up into the mountains on horseback for a week or so"...... ;D
.
.
.
.
After leaving the Base Camp at 6400 feet.....We rode up to several areas during the week....Including Farley Lake in The Beartooths at just above 10,000 feet ......right at the tree line.........which looks like this.....
.
.
.
.
Where we threw lots of these........
,
,
.
.
.....................and caught so many of these that we got tired of casting and just started sightseeing
.
.
.
.
After our pack trip my wife says....." I haven't seen Yellowstone in 13 years ",......sooooooo she takes me to the Lamar River Valley...........
.
.
.
where we see tons of these.................
.
.
Then she takes me over to the Yellowstone River Canyon...............where you just gotta see this.................
.
.
.
.and you might even see this
.
.
.
.
Moving further west in the toward the Firehole River Basin you can fish here.
.
.
.
.
and you might spot one of these .....................
.
.
.
.
If you go South you can see that the park is recovering quite well from The Firestorm of 1988......The view fishing from below Lewis River Falls is now almost completely green again...........
.
.
.
.
and while you there keep an eye out for this guy.....
.
.
.
.
As you move west out of the park make sure to fish the Madison River.......
.
.
.
.
cause there are lots of these.............
.
.
.
.
you can also find lots of them here above Mesa Falls on the Henry's Fork
.
.
.
.
.................And that is one the best ways I know to waste a month out West
