We have voted on the where, when and how. Now we need a head count, so we can work out the dirty details of places to stay. We have had excellent ideas and great suggestions on cabins. Now we need to get a head count so we know exactly what we are after.
Just a reminder for those new to the thread or have been out of the loop. It will be held March 31st thru April 2nd. Will are looking to get a cabin if the numbers are right.

Count me in. I'd prefer a cabin, that was a lot of fun down on the Hi, but I'll be there no matter what.
Tight Lines, if you need any help let me know.

I'm going to try and persuade elkman to join us too. He has been back on the board recently.

I'm gonna go ahead and let it be known that I like to undulge in the grapes of wrath and i snore! I also don't mind sleeping in my bag on the front porch of any cabin up in that area. If that will help a bed situation then take it . Just a little forwarning. Its all a win win. i get to enjoy myself and then not offend anyone trying to sleep it off ;D

That is no problem Kyle. I have pretty much got this down to three choices on the cabin rentals. Robb, if is not a problem. Can you find out the exact location of the Azalea cabin that you suggested and whether or not it truly takes a 4wd to reach. That is not a problem for me, but dragging the boat along or somebody with a car might struggle. I am guessing it is no more than a forest service type road. Also check on availibilty for the March 31st and April 1st and 2nd. Thanks!! I have a phone call place to Smokey Cabin Mountain Rentals and I am still needing to call Tremont about some cabin they have near their campground to get contact info on those. Jermz if you are out there and can attend or still wanting to do some recon work, It would be awesome if you could cruise by Tremont and scope those cabins out for us. They are on the water, and left of the campground as enter. You actually drive thru the campgroud and hang a left at the check-in, if I remember correctly. Then drive about a 1/8 mile down a gravel road, turn left at the entrance of a field and there are 3 cabins right on the Little River, if I remember correctly. It has been a couple of years since I have been over there so things may have changed. Thanks for being patient guys, we are getting things worked out.... Hope to have something finalized by the end of the week or middle of next week. It appears the going rate as of right now is going to be around 30-35 dollars a night with 12 of us attending. We may can get cheaper, but I think that will be the max. Petey
